Skiing in university

Hey everybody, Im 17 and heading to university next year.  I usually ski every weekend saturday and sunday at my favorite mountain, Fernie BC.  For those of you who ski as often as me or used to ski as often as me when you went to university did you have time too keep up your skiing? I know I will still get out and I realize that it will cut down on my ski time but just wondering how time demanding it is?

I ski about 70 days a year and have been doing so my whole University life

I go to UW Madison, and I go skiing just as much as I did in high school. In terms of time commitment, if you want to ski in your free time you will be able to easily, but if you want to be in tons of other activities it might be tough. If you want to you can make it work, but you have to try, not as easy as in hs.

I managed to ski 4 days a week one season and 5 days a week the next season in college. It really sucks cramming all your classes into 2 days a week, but I'll be damned if those other five days aren't worth it.

Depends on location, and your major. I've only had a handful of opportunities to ski this year, but I chalk that up to a shitty New England season and taking 20 credits each semester. You'll probably be able to ski, how much depends on you.

It all depends on what program you do.. If you're going to be in science or engineering, you should see a cut back on ski time unless you're a genius... I usually only get the chance to go once a week.
If you go into the arts, you can be sure to have plenty of time.

Alright thanks. I'm planning on engineering of some sort. I hear it's insane that's why I'm asking. I usually get 50ish days a season skiing at Fernie which is three hours away so there should be a little less time spent skiing
