Bustin longboards question +k

trying to decide between

1. the spliff

2. maestro mini

or

3. sojourn

im in to sliding, carving, and i wanna get into more flip tricks close to skateboarding but still having the nice ride of a longboard.

im 5'9ish and i way 140ish

im also curious on trucks i currently have the older version of this board http://store.sector9.com/Product.aspx?ID=SF113C&upc=00000000888961637998&cat1=COMPLETES

and i was wonderingm if i could put those trucks on say the spliff or soujourn

I'm a rep for Bustin, if you're looking for a flippable board that still slide I recommend the new Boombox, It's pretty damn awesome. The Maestro is slidable, but its best suited for push culture and flip tricks

I love Maestro Mini, I don't do much besides carving and commuting, but I will vouch for the quality of these boards. So much fun to ride, and they hold up like no other. Whatever you go with you will be happy!

double post, didn't see that part about your trucks. get new trucks. seriously.

sidewinders are not going to let you progress very far, if you intend to do anything besides carving. check out some indy hybrids if you want to stay with tkp's or check out some caliber 50's if you want to go the rkp route. furthermore, i'm not even sure if you can drop sidewinders... that would feel very weird and terribly unresponsive.

Actually you can drop sidewinders. I have sidewinders dropped on my sector 9 punta lobos. They definitely are responsive, but they are not quite as responsive as they would be if they were top mounted. I am going to top mount mine by the end of the week and ill post the results. Nevertheless you can drop them, you just have to take the truck apart a little bit.
