I don't have an account on any skateboarding sites so GT will have to do. My friend just bought a sector 9 and its really soft I tightened the bushings a lot and tightened the trucks to the risers but he says its still too soft is there and way to get it more stiff?

Wish i could dont know much about this other than maybe put extra risers? But like i said i dont know much about this stuff.

soft as in a flexy deck or soft as in the board leans alot

If the deck is too soft, not much you can do about that. the only fix is to move in the wheelbase (drill new holes closer in from the tail)

If your trucks are too soft and you are getting wheel bite, there are a couple easy fixes.

1. get more risers
2. get stiffer bushings (or barrels instead of cones)
3. use cup washers instead of flat ones
4. get smaller wheels
