Back flip fail: Out for the season

i did a backflip on a 60 foot booted and caught a edge on the slush , fell 30 feet to my back, couldn't breath or move and was really scary, i ended up fracturing my sternum , and i got more X-rays they think i may have done more, out of school all week, any one else have this happen to them?

Not on a backie, but took a nice cork straight air about 47ft into the flats. Liquified left pelvic ring, busted rotator cuff, and concussion...
