buying freestyle boots was the biggest mistake iv ever made. Bought them 5 years ago and can't afford new ones. Freestyle boots are so over rated. They usually have a pretty soft flex to them, which in any sort of dificult terrain really makes it annoying. Just in general the softness isnt good for cruising around.

And I have the krypton rampages, there comfortable, but they are so awful. Granted i dont spend 100% of my day in the park, but i still cruise through it a bunch of times on the way down.

The Rampages aren't a "park boot". I have the Krypton Pro which are the same shell and they're great for everything from bumps, to freeriding, to park. Take your boots to someone that knows what they're doing. Make sure you bring the little bag of goodies they come with.

I got Dalbello Krypton Crossfit and I love it.


That being said, you can't fucking choose your boot because of the performance it supposedly supports. Go get yourself fit so that way you have a proper fitting boot.
The boot doesn't make the rider, the rider makes the boot..

I was fitted in IL moros, if they're too soft you can use the stiffer tongues. The crosses fit me as well but they felt like they flexed a little differently and I didn't like it too much. rampages I thought were too soft, but they do have the other cuff which i thought was better. I wish they had pros but the place i was at didn't and apparently weren't getting any.

How is the krypton rampage awful. My bootfitter had me try them on the other day and they fit really well.

Yeah. I tried the rampage on the other day and it fit really well. The bootfitter said it was a all mountain boot, sorta on the "freestlye side" but  you can do anything with it pretty much.
