Cheap Car Rims

So I finally got my first car, an 2003 Oldsmobile Aurora. I really don't care all too much about the appearance of my car. I just need something that can get me from point A to point B. However, the stock rims on the car are exceptionally ugly. I would like to replace them, but I have no interest in wasting my money of super expensive rims. My question is: are there any risks/cons associated with buying inexpensive rims? Obviously the quality will not be exceptionally good, but I only plan on driving this car for 2 years or so. Chances are that I won't even bother with changing the rims, but I figured I'd get some advice anyway.

On a side note, I bought the car from my uncle who put a stupidly loud sound system in it. I'm not sure exactly what he has installed, but from what I remember, it is pretty sick. Definitely pumped about that.

Here is your bolt pattern info

Bolt Pattern: 5x115
Center Bore: 70.3
Hardware:12x1.50 Lug
Offset: 34-45mm

Hit up craigslist and ebay for the best prices. Youll probably find a decent set with tires for 400-800 bucks.

Check out Unique Wheels, they make custom bolt patterns I think and their basic designs look cool enough. $50 to $100 a wheel, and they'll last forever

1. Craigslist. Look up/memorise your lug pattern and find some cheap rims that fit. Check backspacing and caliper clearance though before purchasing.

Thanks for all the input. Like I said, chances are I won't bother with replacing them. I really hate the look of chrome wheels and I'm 99% sure the car has chrome wheels on it...

You can always plasti dip or spray them. Adds some color/kills the chrome. All kinda depends on the cars color tho

Several of my friends have plastidipped their rims and it always looks nice. I like that you can peel it off. I helped my friend do his rims. I'm just debating whether or not I want to drop like $300- $400 on a car I'll only be driving for like two years or so. I have to take another look at it and figure it out.

Black on black would look great, then finish it off with a nice 35% Oor 20% tint job and youd have a whole new car to love. The great thing about plastidip is if you dont like it, you can peel it off and the wheels will look just like they did when you sprayed them.

Yeah definitely plastidip them. It'll be cheaper and probably easier to do. My cousin just did it to his rims and they look dope.
