so sick man, those shots looked amazing. getting that fs100 dialed in quick it seems. also really good job cutting the interviews together, you have a knack for that.



i'm not 100% sure if i would call it a trailer. i can see why you did and it makes sense, especially considering the fact that you said you will also release a highlight reel. but i think that these days most people call the highlight reel the trailer, so it was just a little confusing and could potentially be a little misleading.

(the shot on the right is 30db I believe on the FS (I may be wrong, it might be a step or two below that, but I'm pretty sure it was at 30db))

just finished the rough cut of the full-length video. need to color correct, adjust audio etc, but I am pretty happy with how this came out...especially for being such a long video (as specified in their wedding package) and being the first time shooting with my FS.

now to finish this and edit a highlight reel. will post that up once it's finished.

How many people were in your film crew? I have always wondered how so much footage can be produced in so little time at a wedding shoot

For this wedding it was myself and a second camera. 75% of this footage is mine (partially because it got so dark for the later half of the night that only my FS was usable haha). Having two shooters makes such a difference. It allows you to be in two places at once, like with the bride and groom for each of the prep's before the wedding. Allows for multiple angles during the ceremony (we also had 4 cameras) and most of all it is such a stress relief because you know that if you happen to miss a moment while filming something else, there's a good chance your second cameraman got it. Everything is so fast paced with a wedding though that it really helps to be completely comfortable with your second camera, there's not much time to discuss things.

In terms of footage...it makes me wish I had an intern haha It is literally non-stop filming for than entire day. I'd say my project folder for the wedding is...about 500GB of footage.
