Need some help about final cut pro x and video formats.. +k

for a school project i need a short clip of some barcelona soccer play, preferably from the latest match against levercusen where they won 7 - 2 or something..

But every time i download a video it ends up in some format i cant possibly get into FCP x... dilemma, anyone know what to do? when i download em they're in avi, and open in vlc..

oh and heres a pic of a hot chick

nobody knows what format a filmclip needs to be, to be able to edit it in fcpx?

convert to quicktime with "mpeg streamclip"

if your on a mac try using videomonkey to change it to an MOV file then you can usually drag it in, thats what i do and it works for me, what format is it in now?

yeah im on a mac, but i just downloaded a youtube downloader, and it lets you choose witch format to convert to so MOV worked, thanks folks.
