Snow on goggles

thinking about deep powder days and not being able to see cause of goggles being covered in snow and remembered seeing this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7is6r6zXFDc (k+ for embed) and wondered if putting it on your goggles would make the snow fall off.

I definitely would not put that on my goggles but the idea is pretty sweet. Especially on the inside because you cant even wipe to get snow off.

In a similar style me and my buddy's apply Rain-X to our topsheets of our touring skis to make it so snow slides off and doesnt just pile up and become heavy.

I wouldn't. My Smith I/O I haven't had any problems and they already state that they have a coating to have the water run off as efficiently as possible. Most higher end goggles I feel have coatings to prevent snow buildup that would hinder vision. Sure it'll happen around outriggers and stuff, but otherwise the middle of your goggle should be decently clear.
