AE export help

sorry guys but quick question, every time i try to export my AE movie into a quicktime .MOV file it just turns up black. i googled it but all it was talking about was the render que and i already knew about that. help is appreciated!

i always export to "H.264" could you post a screen cap of all the render/export settings? i could maybe help

is it your final movie you are exporting or just a clip with an effect to bring back in to another timeline. but i always just send my clip to the render que and always export in the current or best settings to bring back to final cut.

i just started to use AE so its honestly just me testing out a coupe of things nothing special. didnt plan on putting it into final cut afterwards, ill get the screenshot

it says the project is called black solid for some reason, dont know what this means.

it sort of looks like something to do with what you are exporting almost. are you exporting the right composition? it looks like you just have a "solid" layer and you are exporting that and not any footage or anything. thats why its called black solid
