University of Guelph Rail Jam

First ever UofG rail jam is happening in the upcoming weeks (date is undecided still) and its gonna be tight! Potential dates are March 26th or April 3rd. Red Bull is sponsoring the event and supplying the rail(s)and the winch. Some people have been talking about building a jump for it too but with the weather this warm I doubt that will work. We are lookin at a down-flat-down and a flat rail right now. And it'll all be set up on Johnston Green.

Either way, its gonna be tight so if you are a guelpher and you wanna participate in the awesomeness, send me a message and I can tell you all about pre-registration. There are only ~20 spots though so get on it!

I am pretty sure you've gotta be a student at the school to be compete, sorry man

there were/are a lot of legel and insurance related details , this is the first year we managed to get the event approved

thats dope,
Theres like a 90% chance I'm choosing guelph for school next year so hopefully this is a success so i can participate next year, I have a buddy who skis as well thats probably coming next year
let us know how the event goes

why didnt you ask me this when we seshed earlier hahaha

but to be honest , I donno what the deal is. Pat hasnt replied to any of my questions and I havent seen him in the office. and i dont think any of the other execs even know as much as I do.

I am gonna hunt him down right now

yeah i sorta forgot about this thread lol oops

not sure what the waiver situation is yet, they are still being put together but I feel like you will probably just sign one once you get there. tentative start time is 11am but thats only if we can get it all set up that morning. we need some volunteers so if you are able to help set it up, you will probably get some sweet red bull swag and a guaranteed spot in the afternoon.

were still pretty unsure of a lot but it is happening fo shooooo and im stoked
