FCP7 help (squished image [squat])

When editing, the canvas appears fine. I exported in HDV1080p25
All clips were originally shot in 25p.
So when I export, basically the subject becomes squat and appears squished.
Also I am using fcp7 on a 13" MBP
I think its something to do with the settings but..
Help please?
