Summer Skiing turf or fencing?

So those of us who don't have snow all year... Who make summer ski setups, what slides better? Turf or plastic construction fence.. I havent tried either of them, but I want what lasts longest, costs least, and slides best!! Thanks

things like plastic lattice or snow fencing is a lot faster than the carpet, but you can't really turn on it at all, so people usually go for a combination of both.
