Things That Made Me Happy Today

Seems the general trend of the year has been a little less than awesome. So, focus on the good, regardless of how trivial it is.

Things that made me happy today:

Seeing this in the forecast for Friday.

Friday Night: Snow. Low around 17. Very windy, with a southwest wind between 45 and 55 mph, with gusts as high as 80 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Saturday: Snow. High near 19. Very windy. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 12 to 18 inches possible.

Saturday Night: Snow showers likely. Mostly cloudy and breezy, with a low around 7. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

And I booked 2 more Web Sites which means I am officially going to Switzerland in May.

riving this cause I'm in a fucking great mood. It's 4 am, here in switzerland, but I got something like 15 numbers tonight wearing ugly shorts and a huge tank to with a photo of my friends cat (Mr. Sweaters) on it.

So yeah, I'm fucking stoked.

dated a guy from april to may 4th. He's on the fire fighting crew all summer. I'm in the european travel summer crew. So we don't see each other till november. But I haven't hooked up with anyone or anything, he may have, but I haven't. It's a mutual agreement to not care cause we were only together a month.

That being said, about half the numbers I got were female... so more of a friend thing. People in switzerland are a lot more offstandish than germany/france/italy so it's harder to make friends here. But I met an awesome crew of people tonight and was getting numbers and invitations left and right, so it was awesome.

... Still very into my californian fellow.

A really nice, chill, cute girl I hung out with most of the time at orientation 3 weeks ago had been talking to me since we met each other. So today she drove 4 hours from her house to my house so she could spend some more time with me before College starts and we see each other again.

Definitely meant a lot to me, and I sure am happy with how the day turned out!

Finally got to see my tips at my new serving job... $50 bucks and I was only there for 4 hours, and it was a dead slow day. It's nice to imagine how much I'm going to be making on a good day with a regular 9 hour shift.

Makes up for the pain I endure having to build this bullshit fake ass demeanor of unfettering contentment and devotion whenever I have to take an order or talk to a customer.

Summers been working out the way I hoped it would this year which makes me super happy. My vacation starts on tuesday and I get to go to both banff and the Shuswaps with two super good friends. Biking, tanning, hiking, walking around town, seadooing, swimming in the lake and all the good stuff will be a blast. I've also met some really sweet people lately who i'm glad to have around. Overall everything is really good these days, and I have nothing to complain about!

played badminton, basketball, volleyball, and soccer tonight for a bit with good friends from my work and ive got a few trips planned and im going biking and hopefully hitting up a race at fernie and silver star,
