BC teachers went on strike and we were blessed with the very rare occasion of sunshine in Vancouver.
Unfortunately I couldn't upload in HD because I have a "basic" Vimeo account.

Aren't you still able to upload in HD? i though the difference is that you just can't embed in HD without a Plus account. i definitely know i've watched HD stuff on Vimeo from non-Plus members

Yeah, i was basic for the first couple years, you can definitely upload 1 hd video a week.

The video wasnt bad! some good shots in there for sure. the beginning audio was confusing, should just cut that out completely.

you only get 500mb a week, so if you have a long video, it can't be uploaded in hd.

Not true at all. If you export 24 or 30fps and compress it correctly you can. My ryan wyble video was like almost 4 and a half mins, at 1080p24 (you could do 720 to make it smaller) and it was only 400mb.

thanks, i was kind of hoping it would work well if you could actually hear what he's saying.
what do you guys think of the colours? i didn't grade at all, just colour corrected a lot of the clips since my camera has difficulties white balancing in shadows so i tried to keep it consistent.

next time be sure to crank up the saturation, add some fake vignette in post, and put in a sick dubstep mashup instead of that shitty excuse for a song you used. also look into this program called twixtor, and use it as much as possible.

I get that. Considering vimeo only lets up to 5 mb/s or somewhere in that range. It isn't hard to be under that limit. Unless you'r uploading an hour long video hd should be fine. I was just saying there is a limit for non plus users. Don't know what op did wrong.

hm it just says "This video is not in HD because basic users are limited to one HD upload per week. Upgrade to Vimeo Plus+ for unlimited HD uploads. Learn more"
i'll try reuploading it tonight maybe
