Going to Breck in a couple of days but I don't have any friends coming with me, meeting me there, etc. Does anyone have any tips for how to make skiing solo more enjoyable than usual? Thanks~
Put in the tunes and ride it out like a thug but just saying u could probably meet some kids down there...just go and hike a rail 4 a bit I'm sure you'll find someone that's not a total dousche bag
I don't really ever ski alone maybe 1 or 2 hours in the morning if everyone else is late getting up or i haven't seen anyone yet but just shred with music.
It's not that bad to ski alone. I usually stomp and learn more tricks when I'm alone. It's also fun to be "that guy" that no one nones, but "that guy" is awesome. Anddd, meeting new people is always awesome
ns probabely doesnt relate to solo shred as well because its not not as good in the park imo. this whole season i have been more into being a fluid and good skier, which skiing alone helps more than anything. also, cardio and the amount you get worked out in general should be higher when alone, theres literally nothing stopping you from skiing from top to bottom but your fitness level
Depends on my mood. Sometimes I love riding alone. Other times I hate riding alone and usually can't find anyone to ride with at the time either. Its always nice to have someone to Bullshit with on the chair at least and share the great experience of skiing together.
Depends. If I'm trying to get a tech, low conseguence rail trick hiking a feature by myself is the best way for me to get it. For stuff that is scarier I find it helpful to ski with friends, otherwise I just lose to drive to go hard.
To quote G.N.A.R "If no one is there to see it, are your REALLY getting rad?"
if people are being lame on the lifts you can mess with them an say dumb stuff to them like come to chair 67 often? or ever get that sudden urge to just jump? Music is also nice to have.
