As you may learn from my latest post on the 185 OPUS, I love them for soft, fresh, pow. However, I need a new daily driver for fast groomer days.
I'm 5'8" 160 Agressive Expert and I ski FAST.
I have Armada ARV's but I want something more powerful and capable of much higher speeds. I ski with ex-racers on groomer days. Yeah, when I say I ski fast, I'm actually serious. I just happen to be the one guy in the group who rides twin tips because I'm still slashing and buttering and finishing turns switch when I ski with them.
Basically what I'm saying is I want a ski capable of skiing hard fast snow with racers, that's as fun and stable as my OPUS 185s, without having to ride a directional ski like Kastles of Fischers.
Is there a ski out there that will still go switch, land switch, but can actually handle full on speed carves? I don't ski park, I just make a lap or two through the pipe every day.
Bacon is too soft, ARV is too soft. Looked at the Atomic Coax 192 and Scott Dozer - those looked cool? Any suggestions?
