So recently I decided to try converting my footage before editing since sometimes when I try to play the whole edit through in Premiere it gets choppy after a bit. I tried using DNxHD since it seemed to be what most people said was the best. However when I put my converted clip into a timeline it played really choppy just by itself.
Does anyone know why this might be? The clip I tried converting was from a t2i but I'm usually editing AVCHD from an HMC40.
