what poles should i get this year?

i ski alot of big mountain and black country. But when the pow is scarce i just ride the terrain parks. i used to have some atomics but they were from when i raced and i am over that. what should i get?

get leki's...i got a pair last year for $49 i think and i love em..they have a slight bend at the top, and the straps automatically come off the pole if you land on them weird and you're about to break your wrist...they're light too

get poles that fit. It doesnt really matter. I am riding with a pair of 1979 yamaha's. They are acctually pretty sick, got the big pow baskets and ghetto leather straps. And they are durable. So when i land on them they don't break.

Get Scott series 4 pole like the nemisis or dispatch. You won't break them I promise. I've had mine for 2 seasons and I used to go through about a pair a season.

i got a pair of the red scott firewalls for $15 and i love them, i landed on one and i would have broken any other pole but itjust bent a little bit, then my friend fell on the other one and put all his weight on it but the pole still didnt break and i bent it back, the poles retail at $80 but if you want a pair that doesnt break get the firewalls

Racing poles are sooo gay. And yeah, poles are poles, except that some are more durable and lighter. Its most important that they fit though. But the K2 poles are sick for sure, the carbon composite construction is killer and they look ill.

i have scott T2 grafite poles. go buy some poles with nice rubber grips, dont steal shitty rental poles with the plastic grips. if you do a lot of backcountry skiing you'll apreciate the lightness and the comfortable grips. also go get the biggest powder baskets out there. i used to have rental poles but they broke constantly so i invested in a decent pair. the only problem i have had is that the tip on one pole has shattered, other then that they have been well worth the investment

i'd say go with execl or yoko or even made some swix stars. all super light and the yokos have cool gripes that you can clip your glove onto. they will run you about 200 bucks and will probably break.
