So I am potentially transferring out of the east coast to attend msu next year and was curious about off campus living. Do most people live off campus as upperclassmen? What is the ideal rate per month? Where are the best areas to live obviously closer is better? I guess just tell me about living out there and if you guys like it. Much thanks
Most upperclassmen live off campus, from what I've heard rent usually runs between $250-$450 a month, right now I'm paying just shy of $300. Almost anywhere is an ok place to live, bozeman is small enough and easy to navigate
we have a house across the street from campus, and really close to beer and groceries. We are paying 300 a month per person, and its badass. Definitely get a place off campus, and probably start looking ASAP.
