our last few games have proven this theory wrong. prepare your anus.
I didn't say you mentioned anything about the game, but the fact that the seahawks are favored means that oddsmakers disagree with you- so what I said regarding the point spread is relevant to this argument.
Furthermore, the theory that the hawks can't win on the road is quite literal. They went undefeated at home this season yet started the season 1 for 6 on the road. So yeah, winning the last two on the road does prove that they can win. Doesn't mean that they're likely to, just means they can-- the first part of the season was looking almost literally like they could not.
But back to the upcoming game, the Hawks are favored, the Redskins are not very consistent at home, and their stadium doesn't have a big home advantage (voted 3rd from last).
I don't disagree with this.
The quote I replied to says "hawks can't win on the road."
And yes-- I'm definitely excited for this weekend's matchup also. sending my 12th man vibes, labels out.
Seahawks blue Friday!
There's a bet between mayors, the losing team has to fly the other teams flag at their city hall on Monday.
Worth pointing out also that the Buffalo game was a road game for BOTH teams as it was played in Toronto.
Personally, road and home records aside, I think both teams are coming in hot and have a ton of confidence, I think RGIII is still a bit gimped, I think both offenses are pretty similar (strong running games and mobile quarterbacks give multiple options on the ground and both guys have good arms and people to throw to), and I think Seattle's defense is way, way better than Washington's. Lynch can run through the 'Skins D. I am not sure Morris will have as much success against the Hawks D. That, for me, is the difference. Seattle is simply a more complete and as a result an overall better football team. They should win, even without the 12th man giving them an extra two or three delay of game penalties.
I won't be shocked if they don't though, it's pretty close and who knows, maybe they take a day off.
