How to wax skis?!

hi im new here and ive never waxed skis before! how? i just got some sick suspects how do i do it?!?!?

Get a stick of ski wax. Not just candle wax.

Get an iron. Not a steam iron, but it can just be an electric clothes iron. Waxing irons are better though.

Plug the iron in, and let it heat up. You'll want a mid-heat setting.

When the iron is hot, hold one end of the stick of wax on the face of the iron, and let it dribble down onto the base of your skis, which should be held in some sort of steady position, base up, with the brakes up.

You'll want to drip a line of it down the middle of the ski for best results. Do not cover the whole ski.

Put the hot face of the iron on the base of your ski, and rub the wax around. Try to just move the iron tip to tail, as to move less wax off the sides of the ski. Always keep the iron moving, otherwise you can bubble the bases of your skis and ruin them.

When done, let the wax AT LEAST cool down to room temperature before scraping it off using a plastic wax scraper. It's best if you let them sit in a warm room overnight, or longer if you can.
