So I'm an army vet with experience with IT systems and communications equipment. I also have combat training and experience. My question is.. I've been looking into working for a few different private security contractors and general DoD contractors.. I've been looking at DynCorp, Lockheed Martin, and Academi (formerly known as Blackwater) I could go the Diplomatic Escort/PSS route in employment or the technicial work with network integration. Both have their advantages that we already know such as high pay betwen $400-600 a day for working in high threat areas, rotations would be 90 on/30 off. With other great benefits. I dont have a problem living in that enviornment, however i'm just trying to see what others would do im my position. And ANY experiences or knowledge with these companies would be helpful.
On that note I know a few of you already know about issues that Blackwater had years ago, but im not looking to turn this thread into a political debate..
+K for good answers
