Haha Freshmen year when I took health, my teacher told us that he did this after his wife had their first baby. Said that it has so many good things in it, and actually didn't taste that bad.

Placenta would just be a healthier option, and almost every mammal parent eats it anyway, as have our ancestors for a long time.
