i downloaded the demo, and i love the two maps you can play. haha, if i had 60 bones i would totally buy the game in a heartbeat. its so much fun, and i seriously dont get bored fucking around with the demo, which probably has 1/100th of all the features the real game has to offer. best ssx since tricky i would say. get it

go buy ssx on tour for 10 bucks on amazon, and ski your brains out...on real ski models too!

I personally think it's worth buying. If you're looking for something realistic, I would pass. If you're looking for your typical SSX game, but with updated physics and graphics, tons of ridiculous tricks, a pretty decent variety of courses, and a bunch of other fun stuff like wingsuits, then you'll like it a lot. The online system is a lot of fun too. There can be like 30 ghost players racing/tricking down on the same course as you, and you're constantly competing to one-up them to earn cash. You can also see all your friends' times/scores on every course they've done, and warp straight to that course to try and beat them. The only thing I really miss from previous SSX games is having an open mountain to cruise down. In this one, you have to select a course before you drop and stay on that course. Overall, worth the purchase for me, because I've owned and played the shit out of every SSX game and it's one of my favorite series, but I would just recommend you play the demo. If you like the demo, you'll like what the full game has to offer because it's the same plus a lot more.

i bought it at costco for 40 or 50 dollars, i cant remember but i dont regret it. even though theres no skiing mode, it does temporaily relieve the skiing itch. shit load of tricks to do, added bonuses like the wingsuit and the ice pick. the music is pretty good as well. if you played the other ssx's, youll be playing this one nonstop too.

I've played the game a couple times and thought it was a fun but i think it was overdone. I still prefer SSX on tour and SSX3 over the new one.

Im looking for something at least semi realistic. Also, I dont really have that much time to play the career mode , so all I want really is just to cruise down some mountains and do backflips and do gnarly lines once in a while.

Also I couldnt find the demo on ps3, mayb it was a limited time offer?

I really wish they could make a ski/snowboard game that looks/feels exactly like skate 3. I dont think EA understands how popular this type of game would be.
