Lots of great tips in here, especially for someone just getting started.
NOTE: If you want your edits to really stand out, avoid GoPros as much as possible. Just because of the plethora of gapers making terrible GoPro edits, it makes it very hard for an edit on a GoPro to stand out.
However, if you aren't very good/interested in the filming aspect, GoPros are a good and easy way to make some edits showcasing you and your friends' skiing.
Feel free to ask any questions, they should be quickly greeted with a response! No gear talk in here though, as there are other threads for that.
