Running out of the sauna in the winter, dipping into the hole in the ice, then emerging, feeling the blood flow through your skin more forcefully than ever before, then rolling around in the snow in the nude, making angels before grabbing a cold one and sitting outside the sauna on a bench until you start to feel a bit colder again, and retreating back to the 100 degree sauna once again, repeating the process many times during the night.

i've done pretty much everything that involves water naked...naked barefooting, swimming, hot tubbing, etc. my clothes have a tendency to fall off after a bottle of vodka. weird.

false. having sex while it's cold outside warms you up quick. Given you can't fuck in 30 degree weather after being wet, but 45-50 is doable.

it warms you up quickly but no girl is going to want to have sex when she's freezing her ass off, and being covered in water in the wind makes you even colder

i've found vagina moisture correlates directly to body temperature. that's why sweaty hot sex is so awesome

Built a sauna on the shores of this lake. It was early september and within 5 degrees of the artic circle so the nights were finally getting dark and the northern lights strong. We got the hottest sauna I have ever been in going and I lasted about 3 minutes. Went out and spent about 5 minutes in this lake swimming under the northern lights.

Sounds awesome, how hot was it? I've dipped into a 160 Celcius sauna for about ten, maybe fifteen seconds. Holy hell, I called it.

There were no real waves but the sunset was great. We were chilling around the fire having some brews and saw it so we smoked a joint and paddeled out into this

We were out there with this group of otters swimming around right beside us, popping their heads up to see what we were. About 500m away there was a grey whale. Plus there were flocks of migrating birds. Stayed out until it was almost pitch black.

honestly couldn't tell you the temperature. It was a wet sauna and we had been gradually perfecting the construction of them all summer. We worked our way up to some pretty damn hot saunas.

Went to the steam room at the pool when I returned home just to compare and they were literally worlds apart. These were hot enough that when you first put steam on you would have to close your eyes and you could only see about a foot in front of you.

I doubt it was 160 degrees if you only lasted 10 seconds though!

Wet sauna? Is there a dry sauna?

And yes, it was 160 C. Normally I bathe in 70-90 C, sometimes in about a 100 C in my summer home.

160 are you serious?! My buddy has a sauna at his cottage and the hottest we've gotten it was 125 degrees but that was after preheating it for hours. How long did it take to get it to that temperature/ why put it so hot? Can barely enjoy the experience at those temperatures.

We were drunk as fuck at my friend's cottage last year and just kept heating it and heating it for hours on end. When it finally came time to enter, it was too hot to almost breathe in, so we just took one swig at the stove and ran the fuck out before burning to death, haha, jumping to the lake and chilling otuside smoking bowls.

What some of you seem to have missed is that Mike-O's sauna was 160 CELSIUS. That is 300ish Farenheit. Hot as FUCK. That's the reason he only lasted 10-15 seconds.

There is such a thing as a dry sauna. They are completely different and much harder to make.

A basic wet sauna can be easily made with the heat source outside of the sauna whereas for a dry sauna you need the heat source inside (meaning you need either exhaust ventilation or electricity).

This was just a very basic sauna constructed from small trees, a vapor-proof tarp and a large bowl shot with birdshot for drainage. Was about 8'x8'x5'.

I went out a few years ago with a some people to a beach that was closed after dark. I guess we were making a lot of noise, because a cop showed up almost immediately after we got in the water. We weren't about to be ticked by some cop on a Tuesday night, so we decided that it would be a good idea to swim out about 50 feet from shore and wait for him to leave.

But that fucker was nice and dry and warm, and he just stood there on the sand shining his spotlight on us and yelling threats to confiscate our clothes and towels while we shivered nakedly in the freezing water. Seemed like the standoff lasted for 30 minutes. Eventually he got bored, walked back to his car, ticketed a few illegally parked cars, and left. It was so unbelievably cold by the time we got back to shore that I could barely walk.

Never did that shit again.

Not many things give that "Cloud Nine" feel like sitting on the sauna porch cooling off as a summer storm crashes down during the evening, roaring with thunder and darkening the sky while beating the awning and roof fiercely, only to come to a sudden halt, as the storm clouds start pulling away to reveal such a glorious and vivid sunset as this...
