ok so you say the reason facebook and twitter are being blown up with all these kids trying to be internet cool by shareing the video is to spread awareness. but then what? even if the entire county is aware of it the average joe isnt gonna do shit about it. and the people that actually will act such as the military have known about this way before this week. its not like no one has known about this before the past week. and sure you get a bunch of teenagers to riot and vadalize stuff while high as a kite on 4/20. i mean im not saying i wont be part of it but its not like watching a 30 minute video is gonna help them find the dude

I find it astounding how many people freak out about this, yet Rwanda and Darfur? Nobody seemed to give a fuck regardless of the arguably, even worse atrocities going on there.

Katrina doesn't hold a candle to Kony, but the other large issues in the world? jesus.

Its almost like its not okay for anyone that doesn't know where the fuck Uganda is or maybe even Rwanda is, to act in support of them.. I don't know why some people are freaking out over this.

I saw someone on facebook say.. 'you guys are talking about Kony.. yeah well he's been out there for a long ass time guys, just saying.' Acting like she knows. I just don't get it!

What if I told you that the current President of Uganda commited these same crimes while jockeying for positon.  What if I told you that the only reason he stopped was because he became the President of Uganda.  Do we kill him too?  Where does it end.. do we want to open this can of worms?  I don't know what to do... Other than as a true believer in Ron Paul I believe African problems need to be dealt with by African people.

has anyone else thought about how much of a cash cow this is for invisible people? This agency is one of the lowest rated charities in the world. they're making a killing off of donations for this shit. the founders of invisible people all drive range rovers, not exactly a paupers car. also look up the percentage of their donations that actually go towards there cause. only 31%. They're fuckin scamming people.

I'm not down talking the initiative, not at all I just want everyone to actually become educated before they succumb to the tunnel vision that KONY 2012 is presenting us with. We live in a time when there is so much information so easily accessible so fast, that you should be careful about what you decide to support. The video is made to show the problem and convince us that we can solve it. Invisible Children has a strong idea but THEY ARE EXAGGERATING the situation, and I'm not sure why. If you are interested, do the research and MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION as opposed to the flashy video that appealed to all of your young person sensations.
