What i find funny is that this is the only insult I've ever heard about tyler the creator, and I've heard it about 60 times. I'm not defending him and saying he's the best thing in rap because he's far from it. OF as a whole, though, maybe is. Everything's opinion, but if you really don't like someone or something find a reason besides that they sound like Ja Rule.

I've never heard anyone say that but me and I've only said it twice. And I'm not saying he sounds like Ja Rule, that would imply they are equal. I'm saying he sounds like Ja Rule had a stroke so now the left side of his face is paralyzed and he can't fully pronounce anything correctly. Ja Rule isn't that good but he's better than Tyler

Chris Webby is really good. I'm usually not into the whole "get high drunk make money and bitchezz" type of rap but occasionally I'll listen to him. Insane freestyle too.

odd future will probably get bigger and bigger next year. not a fan really of these guys but it's true. tyler has been working with kanye so he'll probably be on his next album and that will generate more buzz about them. only thing is they'll probably die off when the next big group comes in and kids jump on.

A$AP Rocky and the whole crew will get bigger. mainstream names like their shit, drake & kid cudi have name dropped them

kendrick lamar may break into the mainstream

I've seen logic and tayyib ali which are much less known, and much less likely to become large/mainstream. I say the Dean's list.

Beau Young Prince is doing big things, Chris Young the Rapper is with Rossy now and i think they could be huge, Cam Meekins has potential, Fortune Family and Gorilla Warfare Tactics had two of the best mixtapes of last year, I like Hoodie Allen but I'm not sure how much he'll blow up, in terms of total musical talent Logic may be one of the best in the whole game, Macklemore as others said but he's already big, Skizzy Mars and Sol are both mad good, and Tarik is really talented. To go superunknown on y'all Malc Stewy is pretty good and he's really small.
Not to sound like some anti-mainstream hipster but it really is just whoever is the most willing to change their style to get wide spread radio play.

Webby has almost no mainstream appeal. i got sick of him really quickly too, most of his rhymes are just nutty similes and dumb shit. He makes me laugh but I just dont like him overall as a musician.

In response to whoever posted Dumbfoundead, here's two other battlers (soul khan is retired) that I think have a lot of talent. Actually met both of them at World Domination 2 this past summer, and Soul Khan is a hell of a nice guy, and hilarious. And I think the one thing holding back illmac is that he only came up to my shoulders and I'm only 6 ft. He really is that small in person.
