actually yeah, the optical clarity of superior brands such as ray ban or maui jim, allow your eyes to relax better when focusing on object. Resulting in less eye strain, which in the long run will have a non damaging effect on your eyes.
so basically it's all around just better for your eyes.
and that whole concept of UV 400 protection is bull shit, it's either 100% uva/uvb or it's shit.

frames made out of wood, excellent lens quality.
i'm not a huge oakley fan, they're lenses in reality aren't all that great, and you can actually rub the UV filter right off, it's all about sandwich lens construction which you can find in ray ban, maui jim, shwood, etc.
