K2 press with free bindings but for next season

I am a intermediate park skier who has been renting bad skis for the last 3 years because i am still growing. i found an awesome deal on some K2 Press skis with marker bindings for free, the problem is that the skis are for next season and i am still growing. I am 14, about 5'10, and 135 lbs. I was thinking some 179s to balance out how much i grow. Should i buy them or should i just pass up the good deal and wait until next season?

hey man i have the k2 press they r an awesome ski i love the press theonly thing is the tail isnt as high as the fromt but doesnt really make a diference they r supper buttery and very fun to play with i have 2 skis just ordered 178 scott p3s and 159 k2 press honestly u can get whatever size i am 5 9 skiing a 159 and a 178 soo it really doesnt make a diference bigger skis r easier to control but idk i like shorter skis for jumps and rails but i would go 179 if u want em till ur like 6 2 honestly but remember they arent perfectly symetrical but it doesnt make a difference for me the press is a great ski

Yeah, some people get worried because of the tail but with the jib rocker it really doesn't affect anything at all

So the shorter tail wont get in the way of switch landings?

no not at all man ive done switch 3s nd 7s reg 5s 1s with these they r fine for landing switch plus the disign is so sick

ive gotten caught a few times and was one of the reasons i wanted new skis. besides that i enjoyed them (last years model)

dont order those online, just a heads up. Go to a well knwn shop to get your foot fitted. the bootfitter there will hemp you make a smart choice.

nnext years are going to have same height tip and tail, if it really matters to you which it shouldn't.

You shouldn't have any trouble with the press trick wise just because of the tail being shorter. I learned rails and boxes straight on a k2 apache which is far from center mounted and the back tip is barely big enough to ski switch.
