My local hill is closing this weekend. This is the dumbest hill ever. They open after thanks giving, and close on march 11th. They also charge like 350$ for a season pass. It's 300ft vertical hill. Biggest joke ever, because we have gotten fresh snow every day for the past week. My spring break isn't until April so I'm mad. Discuss you closing dates and frustration.

My hill doesn't close till end of April mid May usually but last year season ended in early June so I'm thinking ski until at least June this year. Then it's down to hood I go and Ski till September

the weather hasnt been great but they went from full coverage to this in 4 days. I think they stopped turning the snow if that makes any difference, they blamed the closing on "airborne dust"

When mountains close its not due to lack of snow often times. If less and less people are coming to the resort the mountain will close even if they have plenty of snow.

My local bump Nordic mountain closes this weekend and I really wanna go because its only 20 and they have pond skimming, but my parents wont let me drive (45 minutes away is to far...?) and nobodys mom will take me... I hate being a teenager with a liscense but with stupid freinds and lame ass parents. End whiny bitch mode.

So sad my mountain is closing :/ about a million kids posted on the FB page reminicing everything that has happened. Such a fun beach day tho, riding in my board shorts, and no shirt. 61 degrees today and we had a rail jam OVER a pool..you fall you swim haha.
