Title pretty much says it all. A bit older now then back in my prime. (29). While I was never amazing at park skiing. I could throw down some good 360, 540, 720s, grabs, and sometimes a lincoln loop. I haven't been skiing much in the past 3-4 years, and to put it simply... I suck.
I went to granite peak on sunday, they had a pretty nice jump line set up of 6 medium sized jumps 25-40 ft. I can't even straight air without feeling super uneasy. I feel real uncomfortable in the air, just doing saftety grabs or sraight airs. My arms are usally flaping all over the place, and I find myself taking off in the back seat a lot, which means landing in the back seat. Even though I put more forward pressure on my shins, and try to stay balance on the balls of my feet. I still take off back seat, roll the windows up in the air, and just feel really un easy. I remember back in the day I could hit almost any sized jump and have nice control in the air. Now I seem all over the place. I couldn't imagine even trying anything right now, as I am having a hard time just staying balanced in the air.
