I searchbarred and didn't really find anything, so if this is a repost, dont crucify me. how many of you guys out there play baseball? I just wanna know how many skiers play baseball, and if you don't play, and bash baseball like it's your job, why the hate?

No i dont think anybody really thinks that.. I know at my high school, all the top 10 beastly runningbacks, linebackers, quarterback, and wide outs all ran or threw track....im sure it was the same at your high school and every other one across the country you just dont realize it.

I dont know why im still defending track so much, its a joke. Its just a chill ass sport that you dont have to take seriously and can hit on mega amounts of tan white bitches. + its better than baseball

Athleticism comes in multiple forms and different sports cater to different forms of athleticism. Some people have a very coordinated lower body and are super explosive, lending them to a sport such as track. Others have phenomenal hand eye coordination, lending them more to a sport such as baseball. Certain sport have a greater emphasis on being a well rounded athlete capable of both explosiveness and hand eye coordination while others its not as important. For instance, a kid on my football is one of the top sprinters in New York but he has no ball skills in football, on the other hand i have a friend who's incredibly slow but catches everything. It's all relative in the world of sports

im down for some golf this year.     theres something special about being out there nice and early on a warm morning,  with the sun shining through the mist and the dew slipping under your feet.
its a nice place to be.

So any sport besides track doesn't show athleticism? Nobody times football players mid game, nor soccer. Beyond technique and god given ability, there isn't much to track.

I played baseball from like age 5 through high school. threw a nasty knuck. and was a catcher in a perfect game were the pitcher only called me off on like 5 pitches.

I miss it.
