The reason I am asking is due to the fact that I won a 3rd Rail Jam stop in February of 2011 and was supposed to receive a setup and have yet to see it. It's been over a year now and I have not gotten anything from them. I have been in contact with them but seem to be giving me the runaround keep telling me how they have changed factory locations, etc...this was a few weeks back. Now, I am getting no response from them. I think it is pretty wack of them, especially since I won the last stop of the year last season and there are kids that won at earlier stops so have been waiting since 2010 basically to receive their ninthwards, as promised. Bad for the company image Ninthward. Really f'd up of Ninthward!

You might want to look into getting your tuition back, because you obviously don't know how a business is run. And don't try to save your ass by claiming sarcasm, that's just sad.
Ninthward have the worst customer service of any company I've dealt with.
Last year when they were looking for EU distributers, I offered to put them in contact with some people I know in the business, and they roundly told me where to go.
If they have gone out of business, then I completely understand why.
Your sarcasm blows, and so does whatever school you are fixing to get a degree at because the business ethics you have been taught suck. I have been at the top of management at the age of 20 running business with annual incomes in the millions. I chose to go back to school instead to earn a degree with a double minor including business marketing and do things I still wanted to do including skiing. I love this sport with a passion and to see stupid shit like this going on in the industry royally pisses me off. Taking advantage of people never knowing their background is the wrong in itself. 9thward is Pathetic in handling the situation. I don't care what kind of degree you have. Your comments were nowhere near sarcasm. They were plain ignorant in there own mindset.

So what the story behind ninthward? I remember they had some heavy names in their lineup a while back. Who do they have now? And who started the business?
Well according to a lot of NS posts someone in the owners family has a lot of money and is paying the bills for the company. Somehow they signed on a bunch of big names, but eventually a bunch of riders stopped gettting paid or just left the team,now even henrick (their biggest name for a long time) has left.
Legacy of horrible customer service, they were even banned from NS back in the day because they didn't pay for advertising. (Apparently that matter has been resolved though.)
I thought it was odd as well when I talked to the contact at 9thward that was running the company...he said on the phone that he was working at a ski shop in mammoth or something. Odd. That doesn't make sense considering that he should be in a office maybe? Just goes to show the setup of the company...

say whatever you want but every pair of ninthwards i have owned has been well worth the investment. best ski's i've ever skied on for park and for pow. and good job making a call out thread that would have absolutely no effect other than show you emailed someone 3 times and gave up.

they have absolutley no skis i tryed to buy a set for the nz ski season but they themselves cant even get any of the 11-12 stock they have just changed factory from elan in slovenia to a some new factory in canada. cut shane some slack hes allways been helpful to those with stoke for his product
i cannot speak for the skis or the lack of customer service. i do not ride Ninthwards, but i always liked the vibe of the company cause it was truly different than any other ski company in the world. i used to love their team, and love there old edits. maybe its just cause im old and i grew up as rory silva as my idol haha, but ya i hope they get there team together n product out. i for one think it wold be a shame to c them simply disappear. but like i said i have not dealt with them and cant speak bout that side of things.
solid as fuck . W ski 106 was a game changer. imagine a ski movie now a days with someone shredding and creeping out to marilyn manson . ha rory was the man, and still is in my book.
