My mom's stupid.

So she asks me to help her print something. I tell her not to use internet explorer because it's slow, and many other reasons. So i download google chrome for her and she asks me how to get her bookmarks in chrome. I say, you're going to have to transfer them. then she says that she doesn't like the way the bookmark bar is setup, so i tell her use this or IE, idc.

then she begins to tell me that i'm bullshit and don't know what i'm talking about (she's been paying me to help her with her computer for the past 2 years)

she is now going to her IT guys from the state of wisconsin to help her with bookmarks and she hasn't talked to me since yesterday morning.

that's like going to a garage with your car just to get new oil and the garage owner insists on getting a new engine and gearbox because it will make your car faster....

i am pretty sure that internet explorer is totally sufficient for 99% of the people.

(i use chrome, but more because i like the reduced look of it and it has awesome developer tools).


but i know the general problem very well. my brother is soo much like that (wahahaha, they changed that toolbar in archicad 15 to 14, please help me. i cant work that way; whahaha, it cant be that this horseshit program does XY (really minor shit) all the fucking time, i cant work with that program)

always the most minimal issues and hes going apeshit over it.

I think the only bad thing about IE users is when they wonder why the Internet is so slow and it takes more time than before, and then they say that it sucks that the viewing space becomes smaller all the time, then you "lolwut" and take a look and stumble into something like this:

That's the command to open the interface... someone who really knew what they were doing would have just used shutdown -m.

My parrents thought I´d put a virus on my moms computer when I installed Google Chrome. This was a long time ago when I didn´t have a computer of my own and had to use theirs. I just couldn´t stand how slow Explorer was and they got soo mad at me for "fixing" it haha
