My last thread wsa poorly worded and didn't make sense.
I usually use FCP, but my Mac died, so I'm on a pc/premiere now.
Premiere isn't wildly different than FCP, but I was having a hard time with the colors. I couldn't find something as simple and effective as the 3way color corrector in final cut.
I tried playing with the curves, like i would for photos, but found that really touchy and hard to get what i wanted.
So, Premiere users, how do you color correct your footage?

What version of premiere do you use? I use the three-way color corrector and it's pretty much identical to the one I used in FCP and than I play with the channel mixer after if i need to, unless you actually don't have that option in your video effects? Im using the newest version so who knows (5.5)

MBL, but mainly with Magic Bullet colorista II. I use it with both ae and premiere cs5.5, no clue if it works on cs4. If you do any green screen work, colorista is invaluable.

Colorista is a magic bullet plugin which is the same thing as 3 way in FCP.
As for grading, I have heard good things about after effects...
