Ok, so we have a mess of a system coming in it seams. I got a buddy visiting from Ontario, gets in this afternoon for the week. We're going to stick around here till tomorrow or Monday. Seams like the further north you go the lower the freezing level is going to be combined with more precip. Got Revy/Golden on the mind... If any of you guys who are there could keep me up to date as to what is going on during this storm (freezing levels, snow conditions, etc...)
This storm could be really sweet, or absolutely horrible. lets hope for the former shall we?

was supposed to drive up there tonight, but we're leaving in the morning instead unless Red magically gets a pow day tomorrow.

I skied it today. It's unreal. I've never skied Red so I don't know how they compare though.

Yep, skied Revy today and it was very very decent. above the snow line it was blower. Nothing in the forecast till the weekend, but tomorrow should be decent off sub peak for most of the morning.
I hear KH got some good snow out of the system as well.

Did you ski Greely? It was closed yesterday. I understand why, but that was where I was planning on skiing.
I want to ski Kicking Horse so bad, but it's a little far for a day tripper.

Spoke to my dad last night, said KH had so much blower pow. But it got skied out quickly, it was busy and only crystal bowl and bowl over were open

I've been told Kicking Horse is getting plenty of snow, wind, and general awesome winter action. Stoked this weekend for a fresh course for my Wrangle run

yeah this second system in two weeks is a nice treat. I just hope that Rossland doesn't get skunked, I DO NOT want to pay for lift tickets again all week.
There was talk about heading up to Golden instead of Revy this week if we do get skunked. I'll let you know if I end up that way. It'd be a shame to be in town and not meet you AGAIN.

I've been following the snow conditions from afar (fuck ontario) and I'm killing myself. I've been missing alot this season! Seems like snow just hasn't stopped! Especially at Whitewater and Fernie! Wish I could ski - ahh well, I'll get my kick during end of April & May (hopefully into June too!) Go enjoy the skiing you guys, wish I could be there.

Ah,,, Ontario is far, I've missed a bunch too. Being in Calgary, plus no insured vehicle.

So it seams we're done for a while. Unless somehow the freezing level magically drops before Monday's system comes in.
It was fun.
All times are Eastern (-5)
