I hate Radio...

my cd changer broke the beginning of the summer and i had to listen to the radio, i was going crazy, they play the same 10 songs in a loop...it got to a point where i would just drive in silence which sucked pretty bad too

Actually the worst thing in the world is radio at work, same fucken songs day after day.... stupid...

they need national sindicated radio hosts everyday, like howard stern or mickal moore, imagin the ratings and the budget they could spend.... sort of like kasey cassem, but not half as gay... hohoho

but without the radio i couldn't listen to my iPod while I drive.

I guess I just take it for granted that I have some of the top rated radio stations in the US located right in Boston and the surrounding towns. The radio here is actually pretty good, but kinda sucks mid-day.

radio around here in NYC is awesome. q104.3 plays classic rock all day, so no problems for me. The only bad part is commercials though.

The commercials are everywhere, songlists are never very long. And even if its a good station, the music gets repitive. The only good station around here is WPKN 89.5 - Listener Supported. No commercials, music of all varieties: we're talking classical, classic rock, reggae, roots, ska, punk, jam, folk, trip hop, whatever the DJ feels like. Super diverse and well handled WPKN is the place to be. They've also got political commentary and guest speakers.
