I took a nice fall last week that took a tole on my bindings. Some how the part where the two brake screws screw into on my griffons snapped and the threads were ripped out. This ment that even if i got a new brakes it wouldn't have any way of being put on the ski.
So i went on the live chat that backcountry offers and they sorted everything out for me. He said that i should take advantage of the great return policy they have, keeping in mind my bindings were two years old. After setting up my return all i had to do was throw them in a box and tape a label they gave me to the box. He even set up another order that was "pending" so as soon as my old bindings were shipped there a new pair would be shipped out. AND the guy even hooked me up with two day shipping.
Now im leaving for a ski trip on the 9th and i wanted to know how much longer it would be. I went back on the live chat, gave a guy the return number and he said the box was at the building and would take 3-5 days to be processed. I told the guy my situation and that i was leaving soon, because he was such a great person he processed the order with the new bindings and i received my shipping conformation tonight saying i should get them by monday, Needless to say this guy basically saved this trip for me
Before anyone says cool story bro or anything like that when a company has this amazing of customer service i think something needs to be said. So if your in the market for some new gear i would highly recommend picking up whatever you need from backcountry.
