Unsure of what truck size to get though.. Dimensions are 7 3/8" x 30 1/2".. Are 180s good? I'm putting some O'tang fat frees I got for free on it..

my dervish and indo board. wish i could get out to ride more often but the times i do use it im glad i have it. indo board hasnt been used in awhile but started using it a lot recently. tons of fun!

I meant to post this in here instead of that other thread, and this is a claim post.

Just built myself a new dh/slide board. 4 layers baltic birch with top and bottom layers of formica. Stiff, 30" wheelbase 36" length 9.75" width. Wheel wells front and back. This was my first time doing formica, it's quite heavy but probably not too different from your classic 9 ply maple board. About the same thickness.

Trucks are not crooked, the board is actually very straight in real life. It's probably the straightest, most symmetric concave I've ever gotten actually.

.5" tub concave with lots of flat space. I kept riding my friend's jati jiro and liked that type of concave.

Probably the nicest board I've built so far. Gonna get it gripped and test ride it sunday. Also planning on getting some nersh smoothies.

thats the size of a normal skateboard basically. get paris 150's, But i recommend just getting a bigger board

I have that same board, except i have sidewinders top mounted on it... and MAN IS IT FUN! it is sort of unstable, but it is crazy fun and amazingly surfy. I also have the same board the OP (Landyachtz switchblade) and some yellow O'tang stimulus's. Best two board quiver ever.

last semester i made a press out of wood, it had a top and a bottom part, took me a good while to make. but this girl that started to make a longboard after i finished just used two beams as the bottom and one other beam on top, with clamps it worked just as well as mine, and i was like FFFFUUUUUUU

Vacuum bag and foam mold. That was pressed with a mold that was cut for 6" of flat space and 1 7/8" bent space, .5" depth. The blank was 10" wide. It seems like great concave, so if you wanna try it those are the specs.

And fyi for other builders on here, it seems that if you cut x inches of flat space into the mold, the actual amount you get is x-1 inches. I cut for 6 and got about 5. I looked at my other boards and they more or less followed that trend. That's for tub cave.

And lol wutermelon at that loaded hammerhead.

with this you can make extremely fast hairpin turns. i highly recommend this board. it has seriously changed and inspired my world of riding.
