Down-sizing in bsl question

So I purchased a new pair of boots and I have gone down in size from a 28.5 to a 27.5. I currently have a pair of fks 14s mounted on my skis that are set for 28.5. My question is whether or not the bindings can be adjusted to fit the smaller boots, or will I have to get the bindings remounted?

depends on where your mounted at now on the wormscrew track. With FKS you'll most likely need a remount, but you might get lucky

Yeah unfortunatly FKS have less adjustment then most bindings as they dont have a track. If your bindings were mounted perfectly first time, you will prob need a remount, but you could possibly just move the heel or the toe piece.

If the shop mounted the FKSs in the middle of the track, you should be fine with a 9-11mm adjustment. If the heel is already back or forward, it will cause problems for one of the ways you can go.
