You completely misinterpreted my message. I'm saying all these kids find out about B&E and hear some form of Wu in their edit and start listening to them as if they've been doing it their whole lives. No hate or disrespect towards Henrik or Phil. I'm only saying it's annoying to see kids thinking they know all about the group because they've seen B&E. They did not start the Wu trend. It's been around since the group came out...

when my uncle was turning 20ish  (about 11 years ago), my dad gave him a Wu-Tang t shirt for his birthday.  my uncle politely said "im sorry but i cannot accept this gift,  if i wear it i will get beat up".   My dad was caught off guard but took the shirt back.  Thinking he was cool for doing it he decided to  wear it around.  i was about 12 at this time but i remember pretty well.   Any time he was wearing that shirt he would get compliments by random kids. i assume just for being older (around 40), and being big (6'1 225) he didnt really face any danger wearing the shirt,  but it wasnt the same for my 20 yr old 5'8, 150lb uncle.

the moral of the story is,  if a skinny white kid wore a Wu-Tang shirt he would get beat up.  
now super skinny white kids wear them SKIING and think they are cool.

maybe its that since there are no black people on the ski hill theres free reign to do anything that would otherwise be overboard.   you could drop the n bomb and you wouldnt face any danger,  but in real life you couldnt and wouldnt do any of this.  IMO its one of the lamest things 'gangster' skiiers do. listen to them if you want but wtf youre not an OG or something

Oh, of course. They have some of the best Hip Hop songs of all time and all the members have awesome solo careers as well. They're a great group and I don't mean anything against by this thread.

funny thing is that I have been listening to wu tang since I was seven.  the thing that bothered me the most was when kids at school would spell it wo, or better yet woo...  used to piss me off cuase they actually believed thats how it was spelled.
