I am curious as to how it integrates with non-touch capacitive systems. Kinda seems like a mobile OS mixed with a classic desktop. Props on windows though for innovating and rethinking the whole windows OS
I have it on my desktop right now and I think its pretty nifty. The controls for touch work well with the mouse. Its just getting started but I think its really nice. It still has the dedicated desktop screen so don't think its always in tile mode.
Ok after using it heavily for the past week or so I have to say that this is far better than Windows 7. I dont even want to reboot to Win7 for any reason now. Its just so snappy. I've yet to have one "not responding" and it actually boots really fast on my SSD (12 boot w/ Win8 and 18 w/ Win7).
I only use the start menu (start tiles) when using different apps and then pinning them to the left side of the screen like Slacker radio, weather, and a couple others. Other than that I'm on the desktop the rest. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
meh. the reason i dislike windows is that they are sorta unstable, and also unless your running on a dream setup your going to get relalllllllyyyyyy slow...
I just decided to install this on my little net book, runs like water, compared to windows 7. I freaking love it! gonna wait for the full version and for more software capabilities before I put it on my main computer though.
