I'm pretty sick right now so I've been feeling pretty gloomy, but I started to think about all the things I'm grateful for and immediately my attitude changed. Anyways, I'm thankful for my family and all they've encouraged me to accomplish. I'm grateful to have a wide open future ahead of me, and the opportunity of a college education paid for by my family. I'm grateful for no extremely limtiting aspects to my health, and the beautiful state I live. Jesus, I'm lucky and I hope I never sink back into self-indulgent self pity. ultimately, WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR NEWSCHOOLERS? ....just try to cultivate the posifive energy and life vibes you get from those satisfying thoughts, and the next time you're feeling stressed, try it out, it helps me a ton- the two emotions can't coexist.

Im thankful for the brief spark of consciousness I have been granted by nature. I realize how incredibly lucky I am to be alive and always think about the millions and billions of people that never were born, that could have potentially been born in my place.
After that I am thankful for all that I have and my family and friends.
I've been getting down over my uncertain future lately, as well as my inability to motivate myself to do my coursework. I've always been able to get by on my intelligence, and my lack of a desire to try is seriously putting a damper on my performance. I tend to abstract my problems as a form of escape.
Trials and tribulations aside, I am Happy
I'm happy because I have someone truly wonderful in my life, I am in good health, and I have a loving family.
