???? You should tell that to the kid in the edit wearing jeans then. That's who Kaktus was talking about.

I'm all for a slimmer snowpants, but super skinny jeans when you're skiing makes no sense to me. Maybe that kid doesn't fall and get wet, because I can't deny the awesomeness he displayed in the edits. I am not a fan of the stick legs though, it distracts me.

Contrary to popular belief, most of the snow actually just brushes off when you fall, you'd have to spend ALL day on your butt for them to get really wet.

I care, because the times that I wore jeans skiing were terrible, and I don't see how someone could trade off every technical function that any decent pair of snowpants can offer for whatever positive thing they may find in wearing jeans.

I rarely waste time over outerwear choices when it comes to snowsports. The only time I bring it up on the ski hill is when I am complimenting someone or making fun of gapers. Jeans aren't outerwear, and if many people hate on gapers for doing it, I really find myself conflicted when there's a kid killing it in denim.
