I actually thought that was a rather interesting and creative way to edit what seemed to be a bunch of shaky go pro footage. I thought it was pretty cool.
You looking for a in depth critique? Ideas? Tips? Want me to tell you how much I love it? You kinda just posted this video with no description of what you're after so I don't know what to tell you.
...but that being said, it seems like an attempt to make something creative. I disagree that it's a typical NS edit. It seems as though the maker tried to do something different. It wasn't just GoPro footage thrown together. Yeah, the effects were cheesy, yeah the twixtor was shitty, but it seemed fun to me.
I'll agree that it's really not critique-able at all in that there's really not much "art" in it, but it seems like they tried to be creative. IMO it doesn't fit the mold of a typical NS edit. I think the editor made the most interesting video they could with the footage they had. What was their other choice? Not make an edit? Or throw the footage together with no effects and no story?
