So I was messing around with a glidecam and skiing with it yesterday. I kept having troubles with the wind wanting to pull it one way and throwing everything off. Any advice?
turn the weight sled so that it is pointing left and right, as in perpendicular to the lens. Also don't add more weight unless you can do it while still maintaining a proper drop time. I know some people also slightly adjust their balance on it to account for wind, though this is usually because of air resistance/wind that is straight on, and not for side to side stuff
