translation "right now I think I am having the greatest time of my life, while you are trying hard to get good grades and a great future, once we both are 30 I will be living a shitty life because I didn't care about school or my grades while you had a 4.0 through highschool and college and now making tons of money."
Think about it guys, If you put in the effort these 4 to 8 years you can being making a large amount of money when you get older instead of having to worry if you can pay for your kids school supplies, the mortgage, or paying the bills on time.
If you put in the effort you can succeed! Most people are not to dumb to get good grades, It is the amount of energy you put into getting those good grades! Freshman year I ended with a 2.2 GPA sophomore year I had a 2.1 GPA. Then during the summer of going to my junior year I realized that the path I was heading down was a bad one, the life style that I wanted could not be achieved the way I was heading! Last semester I ended with a 3.56 and currently am holding a 3.75 GPA! Almost everyone is capable of achieving this but you must put in the effort! Don't get me wrong you don't have to spend 24/7 on grades! I hang out with my friends almost everyday, I party occasionally too but when shit needs to get done in school I get it done before I go out and hangout with friends or party. Also if you are like me and have those shitty GPAs go to summer school or online school and redo them it will help out majorly in your over all GPA.
With the way our country is going (USA) it will be such a struggle for our generation to hold a decent job, but with a good education it will help out a lot more.
