So I have no idea about the accuracy of this rumor, but i just heard that Scotties in whitby is closed and the owner apparently got arrested for fraud. Again, i have no clue if this is even slightly true. Their website is also down and my friend said she called the shop and no one answered the phone. Obviously, its not much of a loss from a pro shop perspective. The employees were generally douches and they fucked up mountings regularly. BUT, i am sorta bummed cause they always had their infamous 50% off sales at the end of every season, which was a great time to pick up some new sticks for dirt cheap (K2 Domains last season for $225). Post here if you have any insiders on this please!

aha i feel the same way dude. i just loved them for the end of the year sales though. if youre in the durham area, let me know if they do throw a big sale.

ignore this thread and perhaps delete. Scotties is still open, i went today. They still have their 50% off sale on right now.
